The Importance of a Pre Purchase Pool Inspection –
Customer just moved into house and did not get a proper inspection by a C 53 contractor. When they called me I notified them that the electrical lines in the pool equipment room needed to be replaced ASAP. After 40 years underground they had rusted and disintegrated rendering the lines dangerously unprotected. We ran all new electrical and installed a new pump and rearranged the equipment room for easy access

The pool pump seized and was unusable, it's location also made replacing it in place impossible. We decided to re-plumb it in a more accessible position
-
1960's Pool Lightbox located directly under the timer ...poor design
-
Red Brass is taped together for the underwater lighting unit. This is highly dangerous and out of code

-
A new pump has been added and placed in an accessible position for service and future repairs
-
